    Rockin' Rick's Rolling Music "BandWagon" is the product of ten years of corporate and festival entertainment experience. The Rolling Music concept came to Rick a few years ago in Las Vegas, as he sat at the piano bar in New York, New York casino.

    Rick knew it would be great if he could somehow take the comedy piano bar concept and make it mobile for outside events, such as fairs and festivals. The problem was, how do you make a piano mobile, and the answer is, not very easily. Since Rick not only plays piano, but is also a master lead guitarist and award winning vocalist, the answer was to play and entertain the audience like the piano bar players do, but play guitar instead of piano so he could be totally mobile. The concept was an instant hit!

    The next thing Rick had to figure out was how to build a rolling cart that would carry a sound system, computers, lights, microphones, and everything else he would need to entertain a crowd with the amazing sound he has become known for.

    After much trial and error, the Rolling Music "BandWagon" was born. Rick now has different carts for different needs, indoors or out, large concert or small stage shows. The BandWagon can be rolled into a living room for a private performance, or take center stage at a major festival. Either way it's a one-of-a-kind hit no one forgets!     

    Rockin' Rick's Rolling Music & Comedy is a masterful combination of live guitar and vocals combined with computer generated Midi Sequences. With Midi technology (Musical Instrument Digital Interface), a solo performer can produce an entire band of sound using just one instrument. Midi is not recorded music, it is live music played by a computer instead of a human. Midi music has become the standard for most production music in the world today, and Midi is a must if you play corporate shows or casino lounges in Las Vegas.

    Midi Sequencing allows a solo entertainer to perform hundreds of songs he would otherwise not be able to play. All the way from Sinatra to Santana, Midi has no limitations. For a musician who understands how to use the technology, Midi Sequencing can open the door to a world of great sounding music from many different styles.

    There are several advantages to the type of show Rick does. First of all, it's based on the comedy piano bar concept that packs in customers every night to places like "Ivory Cat's" on Sixth Street in Austin, and "Howlin' at the Moon" on the River Walk in San Antonio. Everyone loves the variety of music Rick can play, and since he plays by ear, he's instantly able to play hundreds of songs by request, and play along with thousands more from his computer DJ library. The crowd really loves this unique approach because they get to sing along, listen, and dance to their requests!
